The LMA (Laboratoire de Mathématiques et Applications) is a mixed unit CNRS-University of Poitiers. Every
mathematics researcher of the university of Poitiers is a member of it. The LMA is subdivided into three teams .
The LMA has a double objective: develop fundamental research in mathematics and promote applied research in
mathematics, with emphasis on the interaction with experimental sciences.
Group theory, representation theory, harmonic analysis, integrable systems, Poisson geometry, partial differential equations, algebraic geometry, real and complex analysis, combinatorics, probability theory and statistics.
